Happy Heart Day!
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” – Lao Tzu
“Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart, & the senses.” – Lao Tzu
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched- they must be felt with the heart.” – Helen Keller
I attempted to take photos of my most favorite candle holder in a few different situations. There was photo where the sun was coming through the window and I held the holder up to the light so the word “Love” would shine brightly on the wall. Another where “Love” was reflected onto a stone in the holder. And a third with a shattered golf ball from the adventures of Thanksgiving (keep posted for the November month post for that story!) placed inside the candle holder. I don’t think it came across well, but there is a faded outline of a blue heart within the green mass of the golf ball. I’m obsessed and in love with it. The only broken golf ball we (the boyfriend and me) found that entire day and I kept it because of the little faded blue heart. Alright, I’ll stop babbling and post the pics!
Before parting, however, I’ll also suggest you pop over to Blest Photography’s page to check out their Valentine’s Day post. It’s quite a memorable one!
I’m thankful for: my guy for endlessly supporting me, usually the USPS (you sort of messed over Heart Day for me guys), photography mentors, practical interviews, my cat and dog, family.
